Sparks Helena

With over 20 years’ experience in performance, Helena has been on the stage from a very tender age. Starting out as a dancer, Helena discovered her talent as a vocalist and began performing with amateur theatre companies starring in roles such as ‘Belle’ (Beauty and the Beast, Nk Theatre Arts 2006) & ‘Kate Monster’ (Avenue Q, PAP Productions, 2013) receiving a ‘Best Actress’ nomination at the Manchester Musical Awards for her portrayal of ‘Kate Monster’ in 2014.

Helena then went on to star in professional pantomime, portraying the lead female character in The Dancehouse, Manchester’s production for three consecutive years; following a magical run as ‘Cinderella’ in 2017, this year Helena is thrilled to be stepping into the shoes of ‘Princess Jasmine’ for another festive season.

In 2016, Helena journeyed to Mallorca to fulfil a lifelong dream of working professionally overseas. On behalf of The Garden Hotels Group, Helena was a part of a 6-strong vocal and dance troupe showcasing performances including Abba, Rock N Roll, Movie Ballads, Acapella and much much more. It was here, Helena discovered her true passion for solo performance and upon her return to the UK, began pursuing a solo career.

In 2013, Helena launched a successful business venture bringing fairytale characters to children’s birthday parties. From the classic glass slipper princess, to the modern ice queen, Helena transforms herself into the most magical characters bringing joy & magic to the faces of little ones and the enchanting sound of all those classic fairytale hits thrown in.

Helena is a versatile performer with a powerful Broadway & pop belt – from Acoustic to Jazz & Country, Musical Theatre to Pop & Rock, Helena will select an exciting set-list to keep your guests entertained throughout your special day.
